Daily Limit for Creating Windows Live IDs

I tried to create a Windows live ID, but finally I got the error message: “You’ve reached the daily limit for creating Windows Live IDs. Error Code 450 : 0×800482d4 : <Time stamp in GMT>”. (OS: Debian etch, Browser: Iceweasel)

live-id-limit3
Why this happens? Infact I haven’t created any IDs for today.

(1)May be my ISP uses same IP Address and more than ‘n’ number of IDs where already created. This mustn’t happen as several people may really want to create IDs by using the same computer.

(2)A mutated script to generate email IDs. This too seems impossible as MS has a decent Captcha in action.

????

Have raised a ticket, will update if I get a convincing answer.

To raise a ticket:
1.Go to https://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=liveidv1&market=en-us
2. Click on any “FAQ” link
3. On the lower right side of your screen click “Get more help”
4. Click “Get support”

Does Google indexes all pictures available on the web?

No. Google only indexes JPEG and GIF files. So what if you want to search a png file in the internet. There are two ways:

1)Go to http://images.google.com/advanced_image_search and select the filetype you want from the drop down menu.

2)In the normal image search field, after the search query include “filetype:png” (without quotes). For example- Grand Canyon filetype:bmp

Remember that the file size mentioned in google is in pixels and not in kB as we normally think.

Happy searching :-) !

irb not working in terminal?

Even if you have installed ruby, typing irb in the terminal / konsole / xterm /gnome-terminal will NOT work. The irb error output will be irb: command not found.

irb-in-terminal2

This is due to versioning available in irb (interactive ruby). Eventhough you have installed only irb 1.8 or irb 1.9 just typing irb will not work. Use irb+<Ver> like irb1.9 to start irb.
