Does Google indexes all pictures available on the web?

No. Google only indexes JPEG and GIF files. So what if you want to search a png file in the internet. There are two ways:

1)Go to http://images.google.com/advanced_image_search and select the filetype you want from the drop down menu.

2)In the normal image search field, after the search query include “filetype:png” (without quotes). For example- Grand Canyon filetype:bmp

Remember that the file size mentioned in google is in pixels and not in kB as we normally think.
